OwnerDeck
About

A small operation, deliberately.

OwnerDeck exists because owner-operated businesses are usually sold either a website that does nothing, or an enterprise platform they will never use a tenth of.

Who you speak to

You will be talking to Mark.

Not a salesperson who hands you over, and not an account manager who relays your question to someone else. The person who scopes your system is the person who builds it, and the person who answers when you message about it eight months later.

That is a deliberate constraint on how many businesses OwnerDeck can take on at once. It is also the entire reason the support actually works. There is nobody to pass your problem to.

If a job is genuinely outside what OwnerDeck should be doing, you will be told that early rather than after an invoice.

Why OwnerDeck

Five things that are true of working with us.

Not values. Terms: the parts of the arrangement you can hold us to, and check before you commit to anything.

Built around your business
The system follows how you already operate. You do not reshape your pricing, your seasons or your rules to fit a template that was built for somebody else.
One point of responsibility
No handing off between a designer, a developer, a chatbot provider and a booking platform. One system, one place to ask, one person accountable when something needs to change.
You speak to whoever built it
There is no account manager between you and the work. The person who understands your system is the person who answers.
It keeps working after launch
Launch is the start of the arrangement, not the end of it. Monitoring, fixes, seasonal changes and new integrations are part of what running the system means.
You keep what you own
Your domain, your content, your customer data and your accounts stay yours throughout. If the arrangement ends, they go with you.
How we think about it

Five positions, held on purpose.

These are the things that decide what gets built and, more often, what gets talked out of the scope.

A website is not a brochure
It is the first shift of your business, working while you are with a customer or asleep. If it cannot answer a question or take a booking, it is a poster.
The system should follow the business
Your pricing has exceptions, your season has a shape, your best customers arrive a particular way. Software that ignores that creates work rather than removing it.
Fewer parts, fewer failures
Four tools from four companies means four places for something to break and four people to blame. One connected system is easier to fix and easier to trust.
Launch is the middle, not the end
The version that goes live is a first draft that happens to be in production. What makes it good is the six months after.
Say the real number
Prices on the page. No invented statistics. If something cannot be evidenced, it does not get claimed, including on this site.

Where we work

The work is concentrated in Cyprus, where most of the businesses we build for are rental, hospitality and local service operators serving both residents and visitors. That shapes the systems: multilingual messaging and seasonal pricing come up constantly.

None of it is tied to a location. The same system works for an owner-operated business anywhere, and everything is run remotely in any case.

If that sounds like the way you would want this handled, get in touch.

One conversation is usually enough to tell whether it is worth going further.
